Embody is designed to help users better understand their bodies through every phase of the cycle. I was the sole designer leading the complete redesign of the product, in close collaboration with founder Anna Hall and mobile engineer Dani Bonilha.From day one, the vision was to create an experience that felt modern, expressive, and human, while challenging many of the conventions often seen in cycle tracking apps. We made the brand part of the product itself, turning identity elements into UI components and creating a more distinctive experience.
The experience is fully contextual, with the app’s visuals shifting across each phase of the cycle, using colors that reflect each stage.
The redesign significantly elevated the overall user experience, helped the app surpass 100k+ downloads, and generated incredibly positive feedback and support from the community during an important stage of growth.
